American bank Morgan Stanley launches investment index Parametric Custom Core Sports League, which is linked to popular sports leagues, according to CNBC. The product is aimed at wealthy sports fans and allows them to invest in shares of large American companies that have strong ties with well-known leagues through sponsorship, advertising, and media support. The portfolio will include 250-400 instruments and will have a risk profile similar to the S&P 500 index. Morgan Stanley plans to track the activity, spending, and other characteristics of the components of its index based on data from Nielsen Sports. The minimum entry threshold for investors will be $250,000.
