American Salesforce Inc., a cloud corporate solutions provider for customer interaction, increased its net profit and revenue in the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, with slightly below-expected adjusted earnings but exceeding revenue forecasts. In August-October, the company's net profit was $1.53 billion, or $1.58 per share, compared to $1.22 billion, or $1.25 per share, in the previous year. The adjusted profit amounted to $2.41 per share. Salesforce's revenue grew to $9.44 billion from $8.72 billion a year earlier. Sales in the support and subscriptions segment increased by 9%, reaching $8.88 billion. Analysts had expected an adjusted profit of $2.44 per share on revenue of $9.35 billion. In the previous quarter, the company paid shareholders $1.6 billion, including $1.2 billion in stock buybacks and $400 million in dividends. Salesforce expects its fourth-quarter revenue to be between $9.9 billion and $10.1 billion, while analysts predict it will be $10.05 billion. The company has improved its annual forecast for operating free cash flow, expecting a growth of 24-26%, up from the previously anticipated 23-25%. The adjusted operating profit margin forecast is raised to 32.9% from 32.8%. After the report, Salesforce's stock jumped 10.6% during after-hours trading. Since the beginning of the year, the company's market capitalization has increased by 26%, reaching $316.45 billion.
